If I create one, then realize I missed one that logically should come "before" (in terms of presenting a logical progression to the student reading it), I see no way to fix it save for deleting the old rubric.

I'd very much like the ability to reorder them. (If the ability is there, I'm missing it.)</original-body>

I use the forum as a place for students to post questions about assignments. It would be nice to be able to "watch" a forum and be e-mailed when someone makes a post. This way, I only need to visit the forum when I know a question has been posted.

Like I said...low on the list.

<original-body>I would like to know if a separate xml page can be created for the grades on the Cascade LMS. There is already an xml tag for grades in the assignment list [i.e. my.csi.muohio.edu/course/coursenum/assignments], but it would be especially helpful if another existed for the Grades section [my.csi.muohio.edu/course/coursenum/grades]. We are making the iPhone app for the Cascade LMS, and with a separate grade xml we will be able to more effectively display the grades. Most importantly we need the Assignment's Title, the points earned on the assignment, and the points earned.

Thanks</original-body>

<original-body>For the first time, I've tried importing material from a previous semester...roughly 35 assignments and quizzes from last fall to this spring. The problem is, now all of these show up for the students...not the documents...just the titles and the due dates. But chances are that I will be modifying the due dates, and maybe deleting some of the assignments. I really would like it if students could not even see that these things exist.

I realize that each assignment can be "published" or "unpublished", but I would also like the option of making them "visible" or "invisible" (at least the unpublished items). By "invisible", I mean that the student sees no mention of the item anywhere. So, an assignment could either be:

published
unpublished and visible
unpublished and invisible

(actually, published and invisible could be useful as well)

Otherwise, I'll plan to go through and delete a lot of the imported items.</original-body>

The problem is that when I just want to go in and make a quick edit to one student's grade, I can't do it from that page without all blanks being turned to zero.

Right now, students are working on an assignment, and I'd like to be able to go in and quickly enter grades for students as they complete the assignment. But I would like to leave other scores as blank.

Could we either:
1) Change the behavior on that particular page so that blanks stay blank, or...
2) Have a simple option picker on that page where the options are something like "Update, making all blanks zeros" and "Update, leaving all blanks blank".</original-body>
